Control Line
Control line, also known as capillary tube, are coiled tubes made of stainless steel, duplex stainless steel or alloys. The coiled tubes mostly are welded & redrawn tubes or cold-drawn seamless tubes. The control line is mainly used for serving the following purposes:
Ø Connecting the sensors of transmitting downhole temperature and pressure in wells.
Ø Controlling the downhole safety valves and vent valves of cable packers in production
Ø Injecting the chemicals into wells.
Ø Connecting pipelines for instrument control systems etc.
